“Noel” is a piece of history. She is one of 12, 83’ers that went to Normandy to be part of the Floatilla during World War II. She needs to be finished into a yacht. Over $600,000 invested in a complete structural refit. An extraordinary amount of work already done with West Systems Epoxy, okume marine grade plywood, and Awlgrip paint products.

She has been diagonally planked in 1/2″ plywood, and fiberglassed on all exterior surfaces. She has dust in her bilges, with no water ingress.
Every frame in the hull has been replaced with heart pine and Douglass-fir. The starboard side has been replanked with heart pine. She has a new stem made of heart pine with a mahogany cutwater. New marine grade plywood sheating over her original fir planked decks, fiberglassed, and faired with epoxy.
The cabin house has been rebuilt, and skinned with marine plywood. The studs are bonded to the cabin sides with epoxy fillets, and window openings are defined and ready. The transom is cold-molded plywood 1 1/2″ thick, and fiberglassed. New bulkheads throughout.

Mechanical Conditions:
- The boat has no existing electrical supply, or wiring. Some new runs have been made with tinned boat cable, but consider it a blank slate to do with what you wish. The engines are currently off their bedding, awaiting new floor timbers under them.
- Wet exhaust currently disconnected due to engine room wood work.
- No existing plumbing runs, with the exception of crash pumps. They are disconnected, as the manifold ends at the port engine, where the Jabsco engine-driven pump goes.
