This boat is custom built. It is built as a replica of what was called a Poulsbo boat from a designer Ronald Young back in the mid 1940’s modified to have a finished interior with a sole and center console. It is cold-molded of 3 diagonal layers of okuome marine grade plywood with 10oz glass sheathing inside and out using System Three epoxy resins. It is a round chine displacement hull using a Beta Marine 14hp diesel inboard to propel it a top speed of 7mph and cruise all day long at 6mph consuming only about a quart of diesel fuel per hour. All 316 stainless steel hardware above the waterline and silicon bronze hardware below the waterline. It only has 23 hours on the engine and boat. This boat won “first place owner built power boats” in the 2010 Woodenboat Show in Mystic Ct. Selling because of lack of use and to raise funds for another custom boat building project.
