This is a wonderful opportunity to own a spectacular wooden sailboat/rowboat hand-crafted by master boat builder Eric Hvalsoe in Seattle, WA. Very few of these have been made, and to buy one new would likely run more than twice what you can have this one for. I understand that a sister boat to this one resides in a maritime museum in Washington state. The sail is a tanbark gaffe rig on Sitka Spruce spars and Sitka Spruce oars with sewn leathers and bronze oarlocks. The construction is lapstrake Western Red Cedar on White Oak frames with copper clench nail lap fastenings.
The Length is 13′, beam is 4′6″, making it quite stable. Minimum freeboard/depth is 1′6″. Weight without centerboard and trunk is approximately 130 pounds, and with is approximately 155 pounds. The spritsail is 65 sq. ft.
The custom trailer is galvanized marine, with 12″ wheels, winch and tongue jack. The cover is a custom made Sunbrella, and it could use some patching, although it is serviceable. Any sail repair place could easily do this.

This past week Eric Hvalsoe (the boatbuilder) stated that if someone were to order this boat new today he'd have to charge between $1200-1500 per linear foot, so this 13′ boot would cost between $15,600 and $19,500!
