This 1959 venerable Mason design was built by South Coast Shipyard in Newport Beach Ca. Workmanship is of the highest quality as she was built for the builder himself, and her present condition, some 54 years later is a testament to such craftsmanship. Planked in Mahogany over steam bent white oak frames on 9 inch centers, she is fastened in silicon bronze, most of which is new. Within the last year, the interior has been removed for full frame inspection and there are a total of 13 new or sistered frames, in addition to one new plank, and many new fasteners. Last fall she was strippped to bare wood top and bottom, had new cotton tapped, was recaulked, epoxied, and painted. She is currently being offered for sale by her fifth owner who sails her frequently out of beautiful Santa Barbara Harbor. A prime 35′ slip for this vessel is available separately. This is a well preserved sailing yacht that has been kept true to form and has clearly been well cared for over the years.
